The Little Swallow

'The Little Swallow' or 'Shchedryk' is an ancient Ukrainian song celebrating the New Year. It welcomes back the swallow to the household after a long winter, who then sings of the wealth that will follow in the spring. This arrangement for a guitar quartet or guitar ensemble was inspired by the Katie Melua/Bob Chilcott vocal arrangement and would suit intermediate level players. (Total of 16 pages).
